Dr. Jeff Shaver joined the Department of Biological Sciences faculty at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ in 2017. Dr. Shaver’s expertise are in cell and molecular biology, genetics, plant physiology, biotechnology, and biology teacher licensure. Dr. Shaver regularly mentors students on research projects including the study of tallgrass prairie microbiomes, antibiotic resistance, and organelle DNA structure. In addition to his teaching and research, Dr. Shaver is also actively involved in service at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´, the scientific community, and his local community.
