Welcome to ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Little Lions Child Development Center. We are excited to be a part of your child's early learning years. Our entire staff is committed to supporting your child’s physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development while building a close working relationship with your family.

Our Mission
The mission of ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Little Lions Child Development Center is to partner with families to provide a thoughtful and intentionally designed environment which will foster optimal physical, intellectual, and social-emotional growth and development of their young children. Our program goals are to:
- provide an exemplary early care and education program that serves as a model of the best practices in early childhood education.
- provide observation and training experiences for multi-disciplinary students at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ in the early childhood setting.
- support the family needs for high quality childcare of staff, students, and faculty of ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ and the River Valley community.

Monthly Pricing Rates
Little Lions provides year round care. Our rates are averaged over 12 months to determine the monthly fee.

Infants and Toddlers
Little Lions will serve children from 6 weeks to 18 months in the infant classroom (1:4 teacher-to-toddler ratio), and 18 months to 2 years in our toddler classroom (1:7 teacher-to-toddler ratio).
With our infants, toddlers, and 2-year-olds, we are committed to:
- building a trusting relationship with each child.
- providing individualized care.
- creating environments that support and encourage exploration.
- ensuring children’s safety and health.
- developing partnerships with families for each child’s development and learning.
- observing and documenting children’s development in order to plan for each child and the group.
- recognizing the importance of social-emotional development.
- appreciating cultural, family, and individual differences.
- taking advantage of every opportunity to build a foundation for lifelong learning.
Preschool
Little Lions preschool serves children who are 3 years old in August through an entire school year.
With our preschool students, we are committed to:
- observing child development and how children learn
- developing the individual strengths, needs, and interests of each child
- appreciating the cultures of each child’s family and community
- creating positive interactions and relationships with adults to provide a foundation for successful learning
- ensuring social-emotional competence for school success
- engaging in constructive, purposeful play to support essential learning
- providing a physical environment for quality learning interactions
- promoting teacher-family partnerships for each child’s development and learning
