Bao loves the community he has found at 杏吧原创. 鈥淔rom my friends to staff and faculty members I鈥檝e gotten to work with and know pretty well, 杏吧原创 has given me some great people and relationships!鈥�

鈥淓ach person I鈥檝e gotten to know here at 杏吧原创 has impacted me in a way that helped me become the person I am today. From the Chancellor, Dr. Terisa Riley, to all the staff in the 杏吧原创 Student Activities Office, to my fraternity brothers, each individual that I鈥檝e met has left a mark on me, supported me, and helped me grow as a person during my time at 杏吧原创. I wouldn鈥檛 be who I am today if it weren鈥檛 for them and I am so thankful for that.鈥�

Bao describes himself as a confident person. He has been able to really find himself in college and the right people to encourage and believe in him as much as he does. 鈥淚鈥檝e learned that I鈥檓 much more capable than I originally thought and I鈥檝e become confident in my ability to take on all the challenges school and life have to offer.鈥�

He鈥檚 excited for Greek Week and Homecoming, he said, but he's most excited for Cub Camp and intramurals through the 杏吧原创 Recreation and Wellness Center.

鈥淎s an orientation leader as well as an upperclassman, incoming freshmen always ask me how or what is the best way to make friends in college. I always tell them what I wish someone had told me as a freshman - to always be your most authentic self and never be afraid to reach out to others.

鈥淵ou don鈥檛 want to change who you are to try to fit in. 杏吧原创 is a community of diverse students who come from all walks of life which means there is someone for everyone on campus. No

matter your interest, background, or personality, there will be someone who can relate to you. As long as you鈥檙e willing to put yourself out there, you鈥檒l find friends here at 杏吧原创.鈥�
