Student Questions Regarding Program Elimination

杏吧原创 intends to propose the elimination of five academic programs to the University of 杏吧原创 Board of Trustees likely during its next meeting in March of 2024. Due to low graduation rates, enrollment trends, and other factors, the 杏吧原创 Higher Education Coordinating Board and an internal academic program viability task force have deemed these programs non-viable.

  • Computer-Aided Design - AAS and related certificates
  • General Technology Automotive Concentration - AAS and related certificates
  • Political Science - BA (the Political Science minor will remain)
  • Spanish - BA (the Spanish minor and certificate of proficiency will remain)
  • Theatre - BA (the Theatre minor will remain)

If approved by the Board of Trustees, these programs will be discontinued after currently enrolled students have earned their degrees.

This FAQ list has been created to address many of the most commonly asked student questions regarding this proposed change. Students are encouraged to contact their academic advisor for more personalized guidance.
